The AZ APEX glass mouse pad: Comparring it to it's predecessor

The AzurePads AZ APEX glass mouse pad has been announced and right now we will be comparing it to the azurepads topography glass pad. Whats new, whats different and whats upgraded.

Surface

Starting with the most important compenonent of a glass mouse pad, the surface. The glide profile of the AZ APEX is balanced making it feel faster then the topography glass mouse pad which feels more controlled. The AZ APEX priortizes control over raw speed making the percision repeatable and predictable. Hit more of your shots and have a more consistent aim with the APEX.

Base

The topography glass mouse pad features 4 rubber feet making it cost efficient and a perfect budget option. The AZ APEX features a full sillicone base making the grip exceptionally better and stable. Silicone provides a better grip when it comes to glass mouse pads so make sure when buying a glass pad that yours has a full silicone base.

Size

The topography glass mouse pad comes in at 40x40cm which is enough space but the AZ APEX is a generous 49x42cm which provides even more space for your mouse movements and flicks.

Edge

Unlike the topo glass pad the AZ APEX has a tapered edge making it easier and more comfortable on your arm while gaming.

Thickness

The AZ APEX has been upgraded to a 2mm thickness making it 1mm thinner then the topography glass pad. The AZ APEX blends in better with your desk giving a more low profile design.

All these features make the AZ APEX upgraded all around but thats not to say the topography glass pad is bad. If you're on a budget or just starting to try out glass pads then the topo glass pad is perfect for you. It lets you experience playing on glass without breaking the bank.
